One of my favorite shows is Concept Korea! I adore seeing five designers with completely different looks, that take risks and during one block of time. September fashion week this past year was my first time being a guest for their presentation and was lucky enough to get a spot for their full runway show at Lincoln Center. Seeing one collection alone is an amazing opportunity, but seeing 5 takes the experience to a whole new level! Concept Korea is a collaborative project that brings Korean Culture to us through fashion. The theme of this season is Five Koren Traditional Colors with five different meanings, Red (fire), Black (water), Blue (tree), White (iron) and Yellow (ground). Here's the breakdown: Choiboko (white), Cres. E Dim (yellow), Kye (black), Lie sang bong (red) and Son Jung Wan (blue). Each collection was beautiful in its on way...the details in the designs were flawless, truly amazing.
