Are you ready for the exclusive…

An exciting visit at the iconic Empire State building for the unveiling of the Daisy Fuentes for Kohl's collection. The fact that Daisy and Kohl's have been in collaboration for 10 years shows how strong of a customer base she has and viewing the collection in person, I can see why. Flattering silhouettes, fun patterns, flirty dresses and cute tops were present throughout both fall and spring collections. I know being on a budget can limit our shopping desires and be a mood killer. But not for this…Daisy's price points are between $18 - $64 and with good quality fabrics! Whenever I shop I always feel the fabric to see how nice the quality is, making sure its not too thin or itchy. There's nothing worse than buying something that won't last or too uncomfortable to wear. I was surprised at how many pieces caught my eye, so don't be surprised when you see me in Daisy Fuentes for Kohl's this summer!

Check out some of my favorite pieces below and my collage from my visit.

Son Jung Wan launched her first e-commerce site this month with the Spring/Summer 2014 runway collection and the Fall/Winter 2014 collection available for presale. To celebrate this new venture they had a mini preview showcasing gorgeous items from both seasons and the best of all I got to play dress up in the stunning furs in my Where's Waldo-esque collage pretending to be on a red carpet in front of the flashing lights.

The site puts striking imagery at the forefront on the landing page, with a behind the scenes look from the Fall 2014 show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center as well as an insider’s  backstage video. Below are some of my top looks that I want for my closet. I'm into the jumpsuits/catsuits/one pieces whatever you'd like to call them, especially the crisp white style (below, left). The bold colors of the dresses accented with metallic shimmery details translates to absolute perfection! For the Fall/Winter collection the silhouettes are so flattering with fun flirty details that can be worn by a wide age range and of course the details and the fabrics used make this collection so luxurious you can't help but be intrigued.

Designer Jackie Fraser-Swan’s Emerson collection portrays the perfect combination of rock meets romance that is her brand’s signature, this season adding in a hint of contrasting darkness mixed with soft blush pastels. As Jackie explains, “For Fall/Winter 2014, I was inspired by strong women who are breaking the mold; shattering the idea that women are supposed to dress or act a certain way. I’m not into the whole “princess” ideal at all; I want young women to just be themselves without worrying about what others think. She definitely succeeded in doing so. The collection was full of amazing dresses that weren't typical; very unique. The below images are my top picks for rocker fancy chicness that the Emerson brand exudes!
