Right now I'm into clean white and black looks with pops of color, sparkle fun patterns. They seem to give off a more sophisticated yet fun vibe. You could easily wear most of these styles for day to night, looking chic effortlessly. Lately, I've been suffering from the "I'm tired of everything I own" so I've been on the hunt for new spring and summer clothes. I'm in desperate need of cute tops and dresses…French Connection could be a good place to start. Hmmmmm

Believe it or not, spring is coming…eventually. While it's taking its sweet time, let's talk about Yoana Baraschi's upcoming spring collection. The images from the new line were shot by Erik Madigan Heck, he's known for adding color to his prints with paint (not easy) which makes them look almost like paintings themselves. The other obvious theme are these strong brows, those are all Yoana; its one of her trademarks. The delicate dresses, luxe lace and fun prints for blazers and pants are the main components of the collection. I'm all about the top right ensemble, looks like a jumpsuit but its actual separates! It looks comfortable yet fancy and that's my typical my style. See more of her fab designs at her website or in stores like Anthropolgie.
CONVERSE Inc. has officially launched the Spring 2014 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Black Sabbath sneaker collection featuring five new styles inspired by Black Sabbath. The collaboration between the two looks like perfection! The collection features the album artwork of four of Black Sabbath’s most groundbreaking records including Black Sabbath, Paranoid,Never Say Die! and VOL. 4. The designs also feature special detailing such as stitched Black Sabbath logos and graphic lining. This is the band’s second collaboration with Converse and comes on the triumphant reunion with original vocalist, Ozzy Osbourne. Each design has an element to capture men, women, heavy metal enthusiast, skater or just Converse lover. Personally I'm having trouble deciding between All Star Band or All Star Black Sabbath…hmmmm
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Black Sabbath collection will be available at select Journeys and independent stores as well as Converse retail stores and converse.com for $60 - $70 USD.

The gorgeous penthouse at the Refinery Hotel was the perfect setting to view CHALK's new Spring/Summer 2014 Collection. There were styles for every girl; structure lovers (me), flowy & free looks or pieces with an edge (me again). As I took a look through the racks I found several pieces I'd like to make my own. I adore the blazer/shirt & pants combos (see in the below pic), its hard for me to pass up a good set! But, I'm also drawn to the baseball jacket and the mesh sweater...hmmm decisions, decisions. CHALK’s Spring 2014 Collection ($75-$385) will be sold on Shopbop.com and at Madison boutique in Los Angeles.
Guess & Marciano have been two of my favorite brands for years. The clothes are great quality with an edge and uniqueness that will spice up your wardrobe! In late October, I attended the press preview for their upcoming collections. Guess is always fun and flirty with their prints, detailed denim and sexy dresses. Meanwhile Marciano gives options for more elegant looks that still have sexiness but in a more sophisticated way. Below are some my fave looks from both collections (1st Guess, 2nd Marciano).

Abi Ferrin's new Spring 14 Collection is the perfect distraction from impending winter weather. The colors, patterns, luxe fabrics and figure flattering silhouettes are what this collection is all about! I found myself taking pictures of everything; thankfully for you guys I've narrowed it down to my personal favs. As you know I love making purchases that give back; yet another reason why I'm an Abi Ferrin fan. Her amazing contribution to The Freedom Project is inspiring. Since it's inception in 2005, The Freedom Project has been helping people live better lives and fulfill their dreams through fashion. The project was ultimately developed from Abi’s passion for helping people who are constantly faced with seemingly impossible circumstances. Each piece has a coconut button from the Freedom Project and a Cambodian belt was also featured in the collection (see last picture). You can find Abi's collection in select boutiques as well as Nordstrom.
