As you may know, last week T-Mobile announced that it’s expanding the home data coverage for most Simple Choice customers to include more than 100 countries, at no extra charge. To share this exciting news they partnered with superstar Shakira to kick off impending changes to benefit their customers! The concert was held in Bryant Park, which was all lit up in pink (T-Mobile's signature color). The celebration began with Swizz Beatz, who got the crowd hype as they anxiously waited for Shakira's arrival. I must say Shakira was amazing! She looked great, sounded the same as the radio (was not lip-syncing) and truly put on a show as she danced around the stage. Hope you enjoy the pics I took from the night!

So yeah my Saturday was pretty awesome :) Went to Beekman Beer Garden to see Swizz Beatz perform. Turned out to be a beautiful day on the Pier 17 at South Street Seaport. As soon as I entered I was hit by the aroma of food! They had food trucks providing specialty order pizzas for all those willing to wait in line. I thought about it but overheard someone say they have lobster & shrimp rolls in the back. It was like a sign, lol. As I bolted my way through the crowd to get a roll, I spotted Jermaine Dupri DJaying on the front stage and to his right was Bow Wow! The music was on point I was dancing non-stop…just like everyone else. Finally met up with some friends, had a few drinks and finally the (extra delicious) lobster & shrimp rolls. I was already in the back near the stage and perfectly timed with Swizz's arrival. If you've never been to see him, he gets super hype and always comes out in the crowd (not just the vip section). I had a blast; left full, happy and tired!

Swizz Beatz shows his support for the perseverance of the arts in school. Particularly in the Bronx Charter School. So many stars came to celebrate the 4th annual charity auction. This cause is very important to Swizz, who grew up in the Bronx. The money raised goes to after-school programs & assistance for students who need extra help. It's always heart warming to see celebrities give back and use their influence for a positive purpose. Having other outlets in school help mold children into well-rounded adults...which we desperately need! For kids, seeing is believing and knowing that he's from the same background gives hope/inspiration for them to achieve more in their lives. The event showcased art from the students and items from celebrities to be auctioned.
