The 2nd half of my Connecticut weekend was venturing out to the Mohegan Sun for Brewfest. I absolutely adore the hotel! Reminded me a little of Vegas. Dropped off my GM Terrain with valet and went into Aquai for my VIP checkin (I was swanky this weekend)! My room was amaze…couldn't wait to jump in the bed but that had to wait. Went down to get checked in for Brewfest. The turn out was crazy…there was a serious line for beer drinking enthusiasts. Tried to sample as much as I could. I would say my favorites were the Amstel Wheat & Crispin Maple (Cider) :-p so delicious. I'm not a typical beer person so I was pleasantly surprised to find so many brands that have good flavor. After the Brewfest my friends and I walking around the gorgeous Mohegan Sun exploring the shopping center, casino and restaurants. We decided to eat at The Shack where they had the best deal ever…2 lobsters for $30!! It was delicious and has spoiled me for any ordinary…I'm still craving lobster lol.
