I'd like to start off by saying I've never seen such fierce mannequins in my life! Roostein and The Blonds are perfection together pairing their almost life like mannequins with Phillipe Blond's exquisite and iconic fashion ensembles. It was truly beautiful and amazing to be able to be so close to the designs and actually take in and notice all the details and admire the time and effort that was made for each look. As you may have notice in all her glory below, mannequin Queen Bey was there (Beyoncé)! Thanks MAO PR for including me in such a wonderful night filled with fashion and champagne, I couldn't ask for more...

I'm a little late on my posting, but that doesn't mean it was anything short of amazing! Earlier this month, my roomie and I went to Barclays to see King Bey for the Mrs. Carter Tour. I was beyond pumped and on the edge of my seat, waiting for the action to start! As we waited anxiously we shared some delicious snacks, like nachos and tacos then washed them down with cocktails. I love how Barclays only has only Brooklyn food venues, you can feel how proud and supportive the city is. Back to the concert….Beyoncé did not disappoint she performed all her hits and even a snippet of 'Bow Dow'. As an extra treat her hubby, Jay-Z came out to perform 'Tom Ford' and the crowd including myself, went crazy! It was like a dream, a day I'll always remember….

Phillipe and David Blond, the designer duo behind The
Blonds are proud to announce that Beyonce will be wearing a custom made outfit
for her Mrs. Carter tour. The Blonds
have dressed Beyonce in the past various times, including her Upgrade music
video, promo shots for her album 4 packaging and various performances throughout
the past 5 years.
David Blond: “Beyonce exudes confidence, glamour and sensuality, so
we created something that would express those things in every way. A couture
look that would not only be stunning, but also reflect her personality and the
music from this segment of the Mrs. Carter Tour.”
Phillipe Blond: “Our original inspiration came from Tamara de
Lempicka's paintings of the female body.
It is also meant to give the illusion of being covered in crystallized
honey.
David Blond: “To start,
Phillipe hand-painted the suit on Beyonce to achieve the correct
shading. Then the piece was hand
embroidered with approximately 30,000 Swarovski crystals that took over 600
hours to apply.”
Well did you enjoy the #BeyoncéBowl?!? I know I did, lol. I'm a football fan, but I found myself wanting to speed up time! She definitely did not disappoint, brought the DC girls back on stage, loved the outfit and sang a cappella. See footage & images from the performance in the New Orleans Super Dome.

After her set she was greeted by her husband (Jay-Z) so adorable! I love couples that support each other.

Beyoncé signs new endorsement deal of 50 million with Pepsi! Like most I am a Beyoncé fan…I think the commercials and ads will be fab and I can't wait for her halftime performance during the Super Bowl. Take a look at the new limited addition pepsi can. It seems as though there's no limit to what she can achieve, very inspiring!
