The new addition to the Bobby Van's Steakhouse family is new comer BV's Grill! The speciality of BV's Grill is new American and classic steakhouse fare. Less formal than the original, but maintains its elegance in the decor with a more approachable vibe. Spacious bar and dining areas for large crowds and large front patio space for those wanting to dine al fresco before the cold is upon us.
The grand opening was packed with relatives, friends and press enjoying cocktails, wine and numerous hors d'oeuvres served on grand trays. Below in my second collage you can see some of the passed appetizers that were absolutely delicious. I had a lovely time catching up with friends over glasses of wine on my birthday eve and partaking in the grand opening celebration. The location is the perfect spot in Midtown for business meetings or meet ups after work. Oh and they have a tasty brunch menu, plus it's only a few blocks south from 59th street. Brunch with friends and burn it off with some shopping cardio! They have something for everyone from beef to seafood, pasta, wings, brunch and cafe options. Take a look at there website to view more about BV's Grill and to make your reservation today!

Last week I had the pleasure experiencing Manhattan by Sail via Clipper City. It was my official first boat ride of the year and yes, it was magical! I've never actually been on a sail boat before, it made the outing that much more special and timeless. Although it wasn't as warm as we would have like, the sunset and the views were absolutely spectacular! Oh and they gave us blankets to snuggle up as we sipped champagne while watching the sunset over the Hudson. Perfect outing for a group of friends, visiting relatives or if you're a tourist visiting. Food, drinks, a boat and landmarks…seriously who could ask for more?!

Do something special this year...Check out Manhattan by Sail, the perfect for summer outing!
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the launch party for model Teresa Moore's new fashion & food blog Teresa Tastes at Beauty & Essex. First off if you haven't been there, you have to go! The ambiance at B&E is gorgeous (built like a speakeasy: pawn shop in the front, decadent dining in the back), the food is amazingly delicious and beyond that they serve champagne in the ladies room (more of a lounge than a restroom)! The Daily Front Row and Teresa Moore put on this fancy shindig with flair and style. The room was full of beautiful and interesting people, we chatted with Teresa, over tasty Belvedere Mango Passion cocktails and satisfying hors d'Oeuvres from Beauty & Essex while we checked out the new blog on fancy Samsung Tablets.
A little more about Teresa, she is a model & a foodie and loves to share her discoveries on her blog. Being that I am lover of food and fashion, I am on constant look out for blogs that incorporate both of my loves seamlessly. What you wear is just as important as where and what you have for dinner right?!

If you haven't been, Ken & Cook is a perfect spot to for amazing atmosphere, tasty entrees and fun cocktails. You'll leave full and happy. I had the pleasure trying out the new menu with my roomie. We started the night with cocktails of course, I ordered the Nolita tea and my roommate ordered the lady marmalade. Anxiously waiting for our appetizers to arrive we sipped our cocktails and complained about the weather. Both dishes were delicious! The buratta was probably the best fresh mozzarella I've ever had and the salmon tartare was equally tasty even better than the traditional tuna tartar. Next up was my favorite pasta dish, papardelle! Yes, its vegetarian but it was filling and a perfect option for a cold winter night. For entrees we chose the bouillabaisse and the pan roasted duck. the seafood was so fresh and flavorful. The pan roasted duck was cooked perfectly; crispy skin while supple on the inside. Dessert is my favorite part of the meal and I have a chocolate obsession so it was an obvious choice to order the chocolate cake (and it was marvelous)! I'm still day dreaming about this dinner, I can't wait to go back!
Nolita Tea- rum based cocktail, green tea and garnished with a slice of cucumber.

Who doesn't love a spa day? You go in for some R&R and leave looking and feeling better than when you arrived. I had the wonderful opportunity to experience and learn about the new Fountain MedSpa. As soon as you enter you can feel the atmosphere de-stressing you and the fact that it's a brand new facility, honestly excites the clean freak in me! During my visit, I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Jeffrey Goldstein and ask him a million questions like what/how/why do the services they offer and about the results. He was very nice and gave me a tour while answering my many questions and concluding with a b12 shot (we'll discuss later).
Fountain MedSpa offers the following services: facials, laser treatments, vitamin therapy, laser skin resurfacing and cosmetic injections. I believe that as long as you take good care of yourself doing the necessary upkeep you can prevent the transformation into the crypt keeper. Personally I don't think I'm in the market for laser skin resurfacing or cosmetic injections at this time, but I did speak with some customers that raved about the results and (equally important) the staff. They also feature the famous "Vampire Facial" (PRP Facial) similar to the one Kim K had on #KUWK.
What I am interested in are the facials, laser treatments and vitamin therapy. The main features that intrigues me to Fountain is the customized skin analysis (done with a machine) that they use for your face to pinpoint those pesky areas that cause the imperfections we all want gone. This allows them to tell you what steps to take to prevent/correct and they can create a facial specially for you! Second attention grabber, laser treatments: laser hair removal to be exact. Shaving is no longer in style or the expensive razors we have to buy. I'd rather have the hair zapped away, leaving smoother skin with less maintenance. Finally, vitamin therapy which is something new for me to consider. After I tried the B12 shot, it got me thinking: this could be awesome! Something you should know, I'm absolutely terrified of needles, like someone has to hold my hand and I can't know its coming! Dr. Goldstein tried to ease my fears while I reminded myself I'm a grown woman, not a punk. Honestly the shot was painless, I was amazed! Not right away, but later that day I felt this surge of energy that lasted for a few days and my skin was more glow-y. Like the customized facial, they can customized a vitamin therapy concoction using all the vitamins your body is lacking to help your immunity and energy.
I'm all about the concept of personalizing treatments. I'll be back next month to get a customized facial to get complexion I desire and frankly deserve :) I have combination skin, meaning my face has this phenomenon of being dry and oily at the same freaking time! After, I'll update the review with my results....stay tuned!
